Nature Trail: The 15 hectares Park is based on the “Web of Life” theme. A nature trail provided from one end of the Park to the other end. This nature trail is constructed with bricks kept on edge. The total length of trail is nearly 1.8 km and 90% of this length is lined with bricks. The visitors are taken on this nature trail and provided with brief knowledge about Nature elements. There is a good network of walking trails inside the Nature Park as follows:

Main Trail: The total length of the trail is about 1.8 km, this begins just right from the Education Centre Building and leads to Nursery area. This trail covers all the Educational sections available at Nature Park. There is wealth of herbage and numerous large trees, bamboo, the web of countless spider and birds call.  

Middle Trail: This trail Start from Butterfly Garden and covers Nakshatra Van, Rain Water Harvesting and 100 m of Woodland part of around 400m in length.

Creekside and Ficus belt trail: Start from Rain water Harvesting Pond and leads to the Nursery. It offers a glimpse into scrub and light woodland area on one side and the creek on the other. A considerable length of this trail is lined with Ficus trees and it is a wonderful experience to view to the creek and the BKC from amongst the tangle of aerial roots. Small numbers of migratory birds, mostly aquatic, but also a few terrestrial, can be sighted between October and Late-April. A few herons, cormorants there are nearly always as indeed kingfishers.

• Two sessions available for Nature Trail at MNP

2. Afternoon Session: 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm
